Keys to Prosperity Kept from the Community

Updated: May 18, 2020

Black families in America earn just $57.30 for every $100 in income earned by white families, according to the Census Bureau's Current Population Survey. For every $100 in white family wealth black families hold just $5.04. ~ Ny Times

You know the saying when you truly get tired of something you will stop it or change your actions? Well I was tired of being BROKE and pretending like I wasn’t pressed for money by showing it with materialistic things that only looked like it helped my net worth, when actually it was depreciating it. I was tired of being just over broke working a job that actually paid pretty well.

Let me explain: I received a significant raise on my job. Significant being a $7,000 raise. Whether that is or isn't significant to you, it was to me. I was so excited about this raise and couldn't wait to receive that first check. I even started feeling like things were finally going to be different. But it wasn't, actually it was exactly the same. My first check from the raise was the exact dollar amount after deductions of my last check prior to the raise.

My mouth dropped to the floor and I was more ready to log out of my double screened computer and go home than I had ever been but I needed that $1,500 ish check. But I needed answers as well. I started to realize that it obviously wasn't how much I made hourly that would make a difference, but what would? That Friday I said what I believe all successful entrepreneurs say at some time or other - "There has to be a better way."

Leverage, credit, insurance, mutual funds, assets, annuities, cash flow, compound interest, annuities, entrepreneurship, residual income. There was a better way and it had something to do with all these words. I had heard these words before but never in a way that would lead me to think that they were accessible to me. I had actually heard not to use them. That payday lead to a wealth of knowledge that would lead to me finding a passion.

For the past 2 years I have been studying the difference between the wealthy and US. Us being anyone living check to check, taking out payday loans, and or purchasing things to make it look like you are financially secure. The things I have learned completely threw me for a loop. I'm in awe of how simple the ideals are but yet our community has NO knowledge of them.

Now this isn't about racial inequality as much as it is about education inequality. However, because there are larger amounts of white families the difference in the amount of wealth held in both communities is racial because there are not enough wealthy African Americans educating the African American community. You see the white wealthy families educate their children on how to generate wealth and thus more of them do it. For example, Kylie Jenner, the debate of her being called a self-made billionaire is neither here nor there. What's more important is that her family set her up to succeed by providing her with the knowledge and the tools she needed to invest into her personal brand and business, this is one of the ways that generational wealth is created. The problem is that most black families don't have a wealthy individual in their family sharing their knowledge and tools on wealth. Why? Because no one shared it with them and so on and so on.

These basic principles should be taught in high school, but yet we’re taught how many apples John has left or what time we need to be at a train station 🙄. The financial education and critical thinking is minuscule, besides Junior Achievement, and the information I’m talking about goes wayyyyyy beyond how to balance a check book. I’m talking about having true wealth, financial freedom, and generational wealth!! This information changes lives and I believe it could also change communities! I’m talking about the illegal drug game and violence!

However those over the public school system still seem to have another interest in mind even though it doesn't suit the best interest of its students. As of today, the public school system is the same as it was in the 1800s, the industrial era. It was formed to mass produce industrial employees.

Mass education was the ingenious machine constructed by industrialism to produce the kind of adults it needed. The problem was inordinately complex. How to pre-adapt children for a new world – a world of repetitive indoor toil, smoke, noise, machines, crowded living conditions, collective discipline, a world in which time was to be regulated not by the cycle of sun and moon, but by the factory whistle and the clock. ~ Alvin Toffler

So if you were ever wondering why most of the jobs that you could qualify for with only a high school education (without other experience) are mostly warehouse jobs or jobs with manual labor, well this is why. You were manufactured by the public school system to fit those positions; that's probably why we needed to know what time to get to the train station.

The government cry’s about the economic state of the United States but withholds the keys to financial success from the community by not implementing a system that educates its students on the importance of building wealth. Then again why would they? To them there is no "need" to teach how to generate wealth. The government didn't need rich people they needed people to do the strenuous hard labor they didn't want to do but needed to be done. The sad thing is we don’t even question it because being wealthy seems so far out of our reach that it seems like a fairy tale.

It’s sad and disgusting because men, women, and kids are dying and not getting the opportunity to live life in abundance because they didn't know what to do to create the money they need.

The word of God says we perish for a lack of knowledge!!!! The great thing about that is you don't have to, but the bad thing is you don't know what you don't know. So here at The Bossette Life we will be exposing the wealth secrets and handing the keys to prosperity to those who are ready to unlock the door. I am extremely passionate about this information because it can TRULY change lives. We will no longer perish for a lack of knowledge!
