Why Faith

Faith is like standing at the end of the pier on a foggy day, waiting with expectation that the boat of destiny is just beyond the haziness that is blocking your physical view.
Although your physical senses aren't activated you continue to stand. Sounds easy? Maybe, but what if you start to get tired, or hungry, bored, feel the need to relieve yourself, or just start to doubt the boat is coming? I mean, maybe they forgot about you or it came before you got to the pier. Do you continue to stand and wait? These are some of the struggles we deal with on our daily walk in faith. Faith is not easy, and many who decide to try this thang out get weak and others have no interest in it at all (for various reasons).
I am not a Pastor, a Missionary, an Evangelist, or a Prophetess. As a matter of fact I'm a former celebrity interview who gave that up and I'm now married to a Minister. Which would make me a Minister's wife if you're a person who is keen on titles. Other than that I'm just one sheep in the flock.
So why did I choose such a topic to continuously delve into? Especially a topic that is very controversial, and sometimes, well who am I kidding, a lot of times gets a bad wrap. Not to mention a topic that people tend not to listen to you talk about if you aren't apart of the clergy or pool pit.
I actually didn't choose to blog about faith, I guess you could say it chose me. Since making the choice to live this lifestyle it has become a part of me. It's my new nature. I am that girl who unapologetically yet respectfully talks about what is going on in her life. So there is no way I could talk about my lifestyle and not discuss faith. If I did I would be hiding who I truly am and if that's the case what's the point of creating a LIFESTYLE blog?
I want to be clear my purpose is not to convert anyone into believers, but if that happens I would love to hear the testimony.
PRAISE BREAK?!?!?!
However, as stated earlier this faith stance is NOT EASY. It's actually one of the hardest things I have done, but it is do-able. My purpose in sharing is to show living for Jesus Christ is transforming my life so that when you get weak in your faith you can be encouraged to continue to stand.
